'MAN 'Samiti is a non -governmental organization, established in October 2009. This Samiti is registered in Firms and society (2009); P.W.D ACG (51); Niti Ayog & Departmental Permission by M.P. Govt. and National Trust Registered. The 'MAN’ Samiti runs a special school since 2009 for providing requisite intervention to children with intellectual disabilities. In The year 2018, "MAN" Samiti extended its wings to establish De-addiction center & MAN Psychiatrist Hospital to facilitate recovery and rehabilitate those suffering with drug/ alcohol addiction & Mental health Problems. In the year 2021-22,"MAN"Samiti has started Diploma in Special Education (D.Ed.- IDD) course with the aim to create a team of professional, who are passionate to use their set-skills to bring a positive change, learning and help the child /adult with disabilities to explore and express themselves freely. Further in 2023, ‘MAN’ Samiti has begun two professionals courses named 'Bachelor’s in Special Education' (B.Ed.- IDD) and ‘M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology' to provide intensive training to students with the aim to serve the needy better.
M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology- is regulated and recognized by
Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), Delhi & Affiliated with Jiwaji University Gwalior MP. It is a 2 year professional training course in
clinical psychology. This course helps the psychology post graduate students to
take practical training within the psychiatric set- up to understand and master
proficiency in clinical skills to deal with clients having psychological illness.
This course offers to the candidate to undergo clinical exposure and training
related to psychiatric diagnosis, psychological assessments, psychotherapeutic
interventions, researches, practicum and dissertation work during the period of
full term 2 year course.
The diploma in special education is a program that focuses on providing
students with the experiential skills and mastery required to work with and train
individuals with special need, providing basic care and teaching life skills,
behavior moderation techniques and social skills to deal with children with
disabilities and special needs.
B.Ed. special Education is a 2-years full time regular undergraduate program registered under rehabilitation council of India to deal with training the teachers to teach students who are differently-abled or physically challenged.
MAN College has a daily psychiatric OPD, approximately 100 to 150 patients run by qualified M.D. psychiatrists. Treatment to variety of cases such as patients with bipolar, depression, anxiety, sexual dysfunctions, substance abuse, drug addiction, violent and uncontrollable, psychosis and neurotic, OCD, and many more are given on daily basis
The psychiatric hospital is built within the
campus for adequate running of MPhil Clinical psychology course. It
consists of 20 beds for in-patient. The hospital has efficient and adequate
staff to take care of the patients.
